Since 10th May 2019, a new application process for China visas has been implemented.

Previous versions of the application forms are no longer accepted. Please download the latest Visa Application Form. Detailed step-by-step instructions for the visa application process can be found on the first page.

The application form for the People's Republic of China must be filled out online. If you encounter difficulties with the online form, our transfer service is available to assist. An editable PDF version of the form is available on pages 7-14. Our team will subsequently transfer your details into the online form provided by the Chinese government. This service incurs a fee of £ 48.00 plus VAT.

Temporary Suspension of Fingerprint Requirements

Currently, the requirement to submit fingerprints for certain visa categories has been suspended. This suspension only applies to visa applications for single or double entry in the following categories: Business Visa (M), Tourist Visa (L), Visas for Visiting Friends (L), Family Visitation Visa for short-term visits to Chinese relatives (Q2), Crew Visa (C), and Transit Visa (G).

This means that all applicants can send us their original documents without the need for personal attendance. For all other categories and any multiple-entry visas, fingerprint submission remains mandatory. Applicants aged 14 to 69 must personally appear at a Chinese visa office to submit fingerprints for their visa application.

If a Chinese visa issued within the last 5 years is present in the same passport and fingerprints were already submitted, the requirement to submit them again is waived, provided the application is made at the same visa office.
