  1. Completed visa application form,
  2. Recent biometric, colored passport photo (not older than 6 months, max. 3 MB)
  3. A colored copy of the passport (main page with photo),
  4. Proof of your current residence, to determine the consular district (e.g., registration certificate or ID card, front and back)
  5. Business invitation from Thailand,
  6. Flight booking (with names, flight times, flight number)
  7. Proof of financial means, e.g. current bank statement/pay slip or a Sponsorship Letter with a balance of at least:
    1. Single entry: at least €800,-
    2. Multiple entries: at least €3,200,-

  1. Completed visa application form,
  2. Recent biometric, colored passport photo (not older than 6 months, max. 3 MB)
  3. A colored copy of the passport (main page with photo),
  4. Proof of your current residence, to determine the consular district (e.g., registration certificate or ID card, front and back)
  5. Copy of the pension certificate with a monthly amount of at least 1,700 Euros net or (bank statements for the last 3 months with at least 20,000 Euros balance each)
  6. Medical certificate, filled out by the family doctor (copy). Please use this form
  7. Police clearance certificate (copy)
  8. For foreign passports (non-German applicants) additionally: Copy of the registration confirmation (residents' registration office) / Copy of the residence permit
  9. Proof of international health insurance that meets the following criteria:
    1. Coverage for the entire stay in Thailand
    2. All medical treatment costs of at least 100,000 USD must be covered, including medical treatment costs for COVID-19. The proof must be in English
  10. Foreign Insurance Certificate, filled out, signed, and stamped by the insurance company

Please note that holders of this visa must report to the Immigration Office in Thailand every 90 days.

If a departure and re-entry are planned during the validity period, the visa holder will receive a new 365-day residency upon re-entry.

The applicant must be at least 50 years old.

    1. Copy of the pension certificate with a monthly amount of at least €1,700 net or 3 bank statements (from the last 3 months!) with at least €20,000 balance at the end of the month
  6. Additionally for persons with a Thai spouse:
    1. Copy of the marriage certificate
    2. Copy of the spouse's ID card
    3. Private invitation
    4. Proof of finances (income statement or bank statement with at least €1,000 balance or bank statements for the last 3 months with at least €10,000 balance)
This visa type is available for applicants aged 50 and over and for persons with a Thai spouse/Thai relative. The visa is issued for a single entry and a stay of 90 days. It can be extended locally in Thailand.
