Thailand Long-Stay Annual Visa (Non-Immigrant Visa OA, Up to 365 Days Stay)

If you're looking to stay longer in Thailand, you can apply through us for a Long-Stay Annual Visa. This type of visa is issued to applicants over 50 years of age and is valid for one year. Those staying in Thailand with this visa must report to the Immigration Office every 90 days.

Please note that since November 22, 2021, only electronic Thailand visas (ETA) are issued. The original passport is no longer required; a copy of the passport page with the photo is sufficient. The visa is delivered by email after issuance.

Currently, the following documents are needed along with the visa application (as files in JPG or PDF format):

• Colored copy of passport (main page with photo, valid for at least 6 more months)
• Current biometric, colored passport photo (not older than 6 months)
• Copy of pension statement with a monthly amount of at least £1,700 net or (bank statements from the last 3 months with a balance of at least £20,000 each)
• If you are a foreigner living in Germany: registration certificate (EU citizens) or copy of both sides of the residence permit (non-EU citizens)
• Proof of your current residence to determine the consular district (e.g., registration certificate or copy of ID card, front and back)
• Confirmation of overseas health insurance meeting the following criteria:
  1. Coverage for the entire stay in Thailand
  2. All medical treatment costs must be covered for at least $100,000, including medical treatment costs for COVID-19. The proof must be in English
• Additionally, if your insurance is not Thai, you must have a "Foreign Insurance Certificate" filled out and stamped by your insurance and signed by two different people (see form)
