How Long Does It Take to Apply for a Vietnam Visa?
If you apply for your Vietnam visa through our visa service, the standard processing time is one week (seven working days).
An express processing option is available within 24 hours. However, please note that the Vietnamese consulate is not open every day, so a 48-hour turnaround is often more realistic. If you are in a hurry, we can arrange to have your passport ready at London Heathrow Airport on the day your visa is issued.
In addition to applying for a traditional entry permit, you can also opt for an electronic Vietnam visa (ETA) if it meets your travel requirements.
The processing time for an electronic Vietnam visa in the premium service ranges from 4 working days.
Please note: Processing time only includes business days (Monday to Friday) when the respective visa office / embassy is open (i.e., not when closed due to holidays or public holidays).
