Your Guide to the Canadian eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization)

Since 2016, Canada has allowed citizens from the UK and other eligible countries to enter with an electronic visa (eTA). This visa significantly simplifies travel preparations as online registration is sufficient. We guide you through the process of applying for your Canadian eTA, which is valid for both tourism and business purposes and allows you up to six months per entry.

The eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is your ticket to Canada and remains valid for five years from the date of issue. It supports multiple entries with a maximum stay of six months per entry. Especially in times of the COVID-19 pandemic, the eTA remains accessible for vaccinated travelers, covering tourist trips, business travel, and conference attendance.

Purpose of Travel:	Valid for both Business and Tourist eTAs, up to 5 years.
Duration of Stay:	Maximum 6 months on each entry.

Validity:	Valid only for entry by air.
