Visa Features and Requirements
This visa allows a stay of up to 90 days on a single entry basis. Those wishing to stay longer can apply for an extension with the Thai Immigration Bureau. A "Re-Entry Permit" is necessary for travelling outside Thailand and returning during the visa's validity.
Digital Application Process
Since 22 November 2021, all applications are processed through Thailand's ETA system (Electronic Travel Authorization), accessible online. Only a copy of the main passport page is needed — the electronically issued visa is sent via email immediately after processing.

- Registration certificate (EU citizens) or residence permit (non-EU citizens)
- For individuals with Thai spouses/relatives: marriage/birth certificate · copy of Thai spouse/relative's ID · proof of financial means (payslip, pension, or bank statement of at least £1,000)
- For individuals over 50 without Thai relatives: proof of a pension of at least £1,700 net monthly or bank balance of at least £20,000
