UK citizens require a visa to enter Ghana. The Ghana Immigration Service issues both tourist and business visas. Applications can be submitted through the Ghana High Commission or a registered visa agent.
How to Apply
- Complete the Ghana visa application form accurately and in full.
- Attach two recent passport photographs (white or light background).
- Gather your supporting documents (see list below).
- Submit the complete application to the Ghana High Commission or via your visa agent.
- Await passport return with visa sticker.
Required Documents
- Valid UK passport — minimum 6 months validity, at least two blank pages
- Two recent passport photographs
- Confirmed return flight tickets
- Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or host invitation)
- Bank statements (last 3 months)
- For business: invitation letter from Ghanaian company
