Current Egypt eVisa requirements
The official Egypt eVisa portal sets the eligibility and entry rules. We check your application against these requirements before submission.
Application eligibility
- Apply early: submit the eVisa application at least seven days before departure.
- Passport: use an ordinary passport valid for at least six months from arrival in Egypt.
- Non-ordinary documents: diplomatic, service, special, official, temporary and refugee travel documents are not currently accepted for eVisa applications.
- Complete information: incomplete applications may be rejected.
What to carry
- A printed copy of the issued eVisa and the passport used for the application.
- Your travel itinerary and hotel booking, or a supporting invitation letter where relevant.
- Evidence requested by border officials; an issued eVisa does not guarantee admission.
