China Extends Visa-Free Travel for European Business Partners Until 2026

The People's Republic of China has extended its unilateral visa-free entry policy for key European countries, including Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Malaysia, through December 31, 2026. Eligible travellers can enter visa-free for up to 30 days for business, tourism, family visits, and transit.
UK citizens still require an M visa for commercial travel. However, this extension supports smoother multi-country planning for businesses that coordinate between the UK and continental Europe.
It is particularly relevant for executives and technical teams attending events such as the Canton Fair and the China International Import Expo.
