Azerbaijan eVisa rules to check before applying
The official ASAN Visa portal is the authority for eligibility and the final decision. Our apply and application form prepare the selected tourist, business or medical-treatment service without changing the authority's rules.
Validity and passport
- The eVisa is single entry, valid for 90 days and permits a stay of up to 30 days.
- The travel document must remain valid for at least three months after the eVisa expires.
- The issuing country and passport used for the application must match the document used for travel.
Application and travel
- Submit a standard application at least three working days before arrival; the authority's urgent route is considered within three hours.
- Use a readable scan of the passport photo page and a valid email address for the authority's notices.
- Print the issued eVisa and carry it with the same travel document. Paid work is not permitted.
Eligible travel documents
The official list checked on 16 July 2026 contains 87 eligible issuing countries, including the United Kingdom. Select the country that issued the passport or travel document you will use; a mismatch makes the eVisa invalid.
Temporary exception: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia are visa-free for three entries from 15 February 2026 to 15 February 2027. Japan and the Republic of Korea have the same three-entry exemption from 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2027. A visa is required on the fourth entry.
