With the new China Visa application form, Express Visa is now available for all visa types for UK and most EU country applicants. We can secure your Express Visa by the next working day if your application is fully completed and submitted by 09:30 AM. Otherwise, it will be ready within two working days.
To ensure arrival on time, we recommend sending via DHL Express with scheduled delivery for 9 AM. Only fully completed applications can be processed — business invitations, private invitations, and flight/hotel bookings must be correct.

New Regulation (effective 8 August 2023): Fingerprint submission is no longer required for single or double entry visas of these types: Business (M), Tourist/Visitor (L), Family (Q2), Crew (C), and Transit (G). All applicants can now send original documents without personal attendance. Fingerprints remain mandatory for multiple-entry visas.
Biometric Requirements (Ages 14–69)
All applicants aged 14–69 must appear in person at the Chinese Visa Application Centre to submit fingerprints. In the UK, this can be done at designated centres in London. Fingerprints must be taken in the city where the application is submitted. We review all applications upon receipt and coordinate your fingerprint appointment. Fingerprints remain valid for subsequent visa applications for five years using the same passport. Processing time only starts once fingerprints have been submitted.
Employees working in media, advertising, religious organisations, or the arts should anticipate potential delays and additional inquiries from the Visa Application Centre. These sectors are subject to more rigorous scrutiny — prepare comprehensive documentation to facilitate the review process.
Please note: Processing time only includes business days (Monday to Friday) when the respective visa office / embassy is open (i.e., not when closed due to holidays or public holidays).
