Application Process

- Russian authorities review application (3โ5 working days)
- eVisa approved and sent to your email
- Print and carry eVisa departure proof to your flight
- On arrival, show eVisa and passport to Russian immigration
eVisa Restrictions
- Single entry only: Cannot leave and re-enter Russia on same eVisa
- No employment: eVisa does not permit work; requires work visa
- Visa validity vs. passport: eVisa expires on stated date regardless of passport expiry
- Cannot be extended: Once expired, must apply for new visa
- Tourist/Business only: Not valid for studies, work, or family relocation
What Happens After Approval
Once your Russian eVisa is approved:
- eVisa document sent to your email (no physical stamp)
- You print the eVisa confirmation
- Carry printed eVisa with your passport on departure
- Show eVisa to Russian border control on arrival
- Russian immigration will stamp your passport on entry
Important Notes
- eVisa is not a guarantee of entryโRussian authorities have final decision
- You may still be questioned by immigration about purpose and length of stay
- Failure to produce required documents at border may result in deportation
- Travel insurance (โฌ30,000+ medical coverage) is mandatory and must be carried
- eVisa can be refused or cancelled if false information provided
Common eVisa Mistakes
- Incorrect passport data (mismatch with passport itself = rejection)
- Applying too late (once in Russia, cannot obtain eVisa)
- Passport expiry date too soon (must be valid 6+ months)
- Poor quality photo (must be clear, 35ร45mm, white background)
- Typos in email address (eVisa delivery fails)
