What Is the TDAC?
- The TDAC is the Thai Immigration Bureau's official digital entry registration, introduced on 1 May 2025. It replaces the paper TM6 form that used to be handed out on incoming flights.
- It is mandatory for every foreign national entering Thailand โ by air, land, or sea.
- The TDAC is separate from your visa or visa exemption. Holding a valid visa, e-Visa, or visa-free entry does not exempt you from filing it.
- Remember that the Thailand Digital Arrival Card is not a visa. The form is a declaration of your travel and accommodation details, not an entry permit in itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the TDAC the same as a visa?
How much does the official e-Arrival Card cost?
When should I submit it?
What happens if I don't file a TDAC?
Entry may be delayed or refused at the immigration checkpoint. Officers may ask for proof of TDAC submission before allowing entry.
Do I need a new TDAC for every trip?
Yes. It's valid for a single entry only, including if you leave Thailand briefly and re-enter, for example, on a border run to Laos or Cambodia.
Can I still submit it myself for free?
Absolutely. The TDAC Assistance service is entirely optional. You can file it yourself, free of charge, at the official government portal at any time within the 24โ72 hour window.
If you'd prefer us to handle it, simply tick the TDAC Assistance option under Add-ons when applying for your Thailand visa. No separate form to fill in, and no need to work out the correct submission window yourself. We'll time it precisely and send your completed visa and entry QR code together, ready for your trip.
