Prepare the main documents below for a business visit. The exact requirements may vary depending on your circumstances and the Non-Immigrant B route you need.
A clear copy of the biodata page of the passport or travel document you will use for your trip.
A colour passport photograph taken within the last six months and showing your current appearance.
A recent utility bill or rental agreement showing your name and address.
Current Embassy guidance lists at least 30,000 THB (approximately £700) for a single-entry business visit and 120,000 THB (approximately £2,800) for a multiple-entry visit.
An invitation letter explaining the business purpose, planned activities and expected dates of your visit.
You may need an employer letter, proof of your role, company registration documents or evidence of the relationship between the businesses.
Current guidance asks for evidence of frequent business visits or established business credentials and substantially higher financial evidence.
Employment, teaching, internship and other work-related applications have different requirements and may need Thai labour approval or work permit evidence.

You may apply through the London Embassy if you meet its requirements and currently live in the UK, Ireland or a UK Territory. You need to remain in the application region while your application is considered.
The 90-day visa permits one entry. The one-year and three-year products permit multiple entries during their validity, subject to the conditions of the selected route and immigration checks on each arrival.
The products shown on this page allow a maximum stay of up to 90 days per entry. Check the permission recorded by immigration when you arrive and leave or apply for an extension before that permission expires.
This page is intended for business visits. Taking employment or carrying out work in Thailand can require a different Non-Immigrant B application and separate labour approval or a work permit. Speak to our team before applying if your trip involves employment.
Timing depends on the route, whether your documents are complete and whether the Thai authorities request further evidence. We provide the current service estimate after reviewing your application, but neither 1A Visa nor the Embassy can guarantee a decision date.
You can ask Thai immigration about an extension before your permitted stay ends. Immigration decides each request, so an extension is not automatic or guaranteed.
Yes. Non-Thai nationals generally need to complete a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before each entry. The TDAC records your arrival information and is not a visa.
