Applications through the London Embassy are for eligible residents of the UK, Ireland or UK Territories. You need to remain in your application region until a decision is made. Check the eligibility requirements
Upload a clear copy of your passport or travel document’s photo page.
Provide a colour passport photograph taken within the last six months.
Provide a utility bill or rental agreement showing your current address. Non-British and non-Irish applicants also need proof of immigration status.
Provide confirmed airline e-tickets showing your journey to Thailand and your onward or return travel.
Provide accommodation bookings or an invitation if you’re staying with family or friends.
You may be asked for bank statements showing that you can cover your trip.

For a holiday of up to 30 days, eligible British passport holders can use visa-free entry from 15 September 2026. For a longer holiday or visits beyond the exemption limit, you may need a Tourist Visa.
You can apply through the London Embassy if you meet its requirements and currently live in the UK, Ireland or UK Territories. Both British and non-British passport holders can apply, subject to the rules for their passport and residence status.
A single-entry Tourist Visa allows one visit, with entry within three months of issue. A multiple-entry Tourist Visa allows several visits over six months, but your first entry must be within the first three months. Each arrival is subject to immigration checks.

Yes. Most non-Thai travellers need a Thailand Digital Arrival Card before arrival, even with a visa. It records your arrival details; it is not a visa.
