UK citizens can apply for an India Tourist eVisa entirely online — no embassy visit required. The electronic visa is issued via the Indian government's e-Visa portal and allows leisure travel, short visits to friends and family, and casual yoga or short-duration courses.

- Colour biometric passport photograph taken within the last 6 months (white background, 4×6 cm)
- Valid return flight booking or confirmed itinerary
- UK or EU proof of address
- Financial evidence or bank statements confirming ability to fund the trip

Standard processing time is 10–14 working days. We also offer an express option (5–8 working days) and priority service (2–4 working days). Processing time is counted from the day we receive your complete application.
Fees start from £90, including all government fees and our service charge. The price varies depending on the processing speed selected and will be confirmed before you complete your application.
India e-Visas cannot generally be extended from within India. To visit again, you would need to apply for a new e-Visa after returning to the UK.
Yes, the e-Visa is valid for cruises calling at five approved Indian ports: Cochin, Mumbai, Goa, Chennai, and Mangalore.
